Part of your entry fees will support their work, and their volunteers will be out on the course helping you have an incredible day on the trails. This year, we're excited to partner with Millwood Impact, which does awesome work with youth in the Millwood and the West Valley. Before you register for the race, sign up for your role via the volunteer link on the event website and then contact us using the contact form, also on the event website. Helping runners enjoy their day can be just as satisfying as running it yourself. There will be be no deferred entries for the 2024 event. *In the event of Acts of God, COVID restrictions or State Park closure etc, entries are non-refundable. State Parks has set a registration limit again this year, of 300 registrations per day, so sign up ASAP! Once registration maxes out, we will post a notice on this site and the event website. Early registration will open February 1, 2023. ![]() Additional meal tickets are available for $5 at registration. *HOWEVER The rolling course makes it deceptively challenging.Īfter you've crossed the finish line, grab a light lunch. If you will want water or sport drink at the aid stations, please bring a hand-held or disposable bottle to carry with you. To keep nature pure and to aid in clean-up, this is a cupless event. Marathon: There will be a total of 5 aid stations: two aid stations that runners will pass on each loop (one at NOVA Hut and the other at Junction 9) plus one at the start/finish pass-through between loops. ĥ/10/25k: There will be two aid stations: a water/sports drink table on the 5k/10k course and a food and fluid table at two points of the 15k loop. About half the marathon is on mountain roads with views across the valley and the rest is on those magical wide rolling trails. ![]() There's minimal overlap between the loops, and they'll take you through most of the Nordic ski trail park. Head up Sunday to test your legs on this sweet 2-loop course. The 5k option remains a great way for adults, youth and kids who have never run trails or entered a trail race to make the move from pavement to dirt, on some of the most beautiful, winding parts of the run.Ĭheck it out! Spokane's first trail marathon (that we know of, at least). The 10k course has been updated, bringing a cool new trail with some more challenging elevation into the mix. For the longer distances, there are a couple of minor peaks to summit, making them runnable but still enough elevation gain and loss to push you to your limit! Most are wide ski trails through the pines. These trails are winding, rolling, and really really special. Rolling trails, pine trees and whole lot of happy faces-what more could a runner ask for? Get ready for some of the most exciting and beautiful running trails in the Inland NW! The Mountain Magic Trail Race is back June 17 and 18, 2023.
